style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Held annually since 2019, the Global StopCyberbullying Telesummit is the largest event on bullying and cyberbullying in Portugal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s an event held during the month of October (European Cybersecurity Month and Bullying Prevention and Combat Month), organized and promoted by Cristiane Miranda, S\u00f3nia Seixas, and Tito de Morais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than just talking about the problem, we talk about solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With online sessions and many hours of learning, we hear several national and international experts who talk about how to prevent, identify, intervene, and combat bullying and in Portuguese, English, or another language, depending on the specialist guest. onde ajuda jovens a atingir o seu verdadeiro potencial, dando apoio aos pais na sua tarefa de educar os seus filhos. De referir que tem mais de 20 anos de experi\u00eancia de voluntariado com crian\u00e7as e jovens.\n\nCriou ainda o Teen On Top - School Edition um programa para escolas, onde ajuda os alunos a definirem os seus objetivos e atrav\u00e9s do qual trabalha tamb\u00e9m a sua autoestima e autoconfian\u00e7a.\n\nEm 2021, juntamente com Tito de Morais, criou o projeto \u201cAgarrados \u00e0 Net \u2013 Como Gerir o Tempo Online dos Teus Filhos\u201d, que tem como miss\u00e3o ajudar os pais e educadores a gerirem melhor o tempo que os seus filhos passam atr\u00e1s de um ecr\u00e3, assim como os pr\u00f3prios mi\u00fados a gerirem melhor o seu tempo online, de uma forma pr\u00e1tica, simples e descontra\u00edda. \n\nEntre outros programas, desenvolveram o \u201c217 Challenge - 7 Passos para a Parentalidade Digital Positiva\u201d, o \u201cQue Tipo de Pais Digitais Somos\u201d e o \u201cFaz-te Ouvir! D\u00e1 a Volta ao [Cyber]Bullying\u201d. In that context, I started by promoting sessions aimed at 5th and 6th-grade students, promoting good practices for internet use. Subsequently, I was invited by the Department of Education to moderate several initiatives, including seminars on online well-being and national meetings dedicated to digital citizenship. At the beginning of last year, I accepted the challenge of joining the Better Internet for Kids project, a European initiative focused on promoting a safer digital environment for children and young people. As part of this project, I had the opportunity to participate as a speaker at the Safer Internet Forum (SIF) 2025, held at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He has been a Digital Leader for 7 years and an Ambassador for the Better Internet for Kids Youth (BIK Youth) program for 3 years, during which time he has developed numerous activities related to digital security, artificial intelligence, children\u2019s online rights, evolution and innovation in education, financial markets and the presence of young people in them, among many other topics.\n\nHe has participated in several conferences, summits and meetings in this same field, having been part of working groups for discussion and evaluation of measures related to the Digital Services Act (DSA). He works in partnership with the European Commission and the European Schoolnet on several projects, and is also a guest speaker at international conferences where he addresses topics such as digital security, AI, conscious education for the future, among others.\n\nHe is the co-coordinator of a volunteer project in Portugal, a mathematics tutor, and has developed several projects in the field of engineering, skills that he also intends to promote in the student community. In the school environment, he has been involved in several highly relevant projects, such as \u2018Eco-Schools\u2019, \u2018Anti-Bullying\u2019 and \u2018Youth Parliament\u2019. In August 2024, he participated in the \u201cClimantica\u201d International Campus, integrating the \u201cEducoHealth\u201d documentary project. From an early age, Jos\u00e9 Pedro has shown great interest in politics, having presented a budget amendment proposal for the co-participation of a medicine. Her journey in defending children\u2019s rights online began with her participation in the Portuguese initiative L\u00edderes Digitais (Digital Leaders), promoted by the SeguraNet Awareness Center. Since then, she has collaborated with the Portuguese Ministry of Education, participating in various conferences and lectures where she shares her perspective on the challenges young people face in the digital environment, also collaborating with other national and international entities. Since joining the BIK youth panel, she has contributed as a consultant in several online sessions on various regulations, such as the European Union\u2019s Digital Services Regulation. Frequent exposure to hostile content contrasts with the less widespread, but particularly significant, experience of being the target of online bullying. Comparison with European data reveals that these experiences are not exclusively Portuguese, but also that there is no single digital experience for European children and young people. The differences between countries, ages, and social groups reveal the importance of the contexts in which children live and use technologies. More than quantifying the prevalence of these phenomena, it is important to understand what it means to grow up in a digital environment where hostility, discrimination, and violence can be part of everyday life. The issue raises challenges that go beyond digital literacy: it involves education in human rights, peer relationships, inequalities, well-being, and platform responsibility. The results thus invite us to shift our focus from the question &#8220;how much time do children spend online?&#8221; To answer a more complex question: &#8220;What experiences are they having online, Em 2021, juntamente com Tito de Morais, criou o projeto \u201cAgarrados \u00e0 Net \u2013 Como Gerir o Tempo Online dos Teus Filhos\u201d, que tem como miss\u00e3o ajudar os pais e educadores a gerirem melhor o tempo que os seus filhos passam atr\u00e1s de um ecr\u00e3, assim como os pr\u00f3prios mi\u00fados a gerirem melhor o seu tempo online, de uma forma pr\u00e1tica, simples e descontra\u00edda.
